ICGP Research and Audit Conference - Closing Date for Submission of Abstracts Friday 23rd April

ICGP Research and Audit Conference - Saturday June 19th, 2010; Lyrath Hotel, Kilkenny.

The theme of the conference is "Strengthening General Practice through Research and Audit" The conference will include the presentation of published and unpublished completed work and work in progress in oral and poster format. There will also be a key-note speaker and workshops on selected topics of interest. A prize will be awarded for the best oral presentation and the best poster.

We now invite you to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts are welcomed on all general practice research and audit topics including but not limited to the following areas:

• Problem solving/primary care management.
• Diagnostic reasoning and diagnostic tests.
• Treatment.
• Chronic care and disease management.
• (Shared) Decision-making.
• Quality of Care.
• Health Services Research.
• Screening, health promotion and disease prevention.
• Epidemiology.

Abstracts should not exceed 300 words and in addition should include the abstract title, all authors with the attending author underlined and contact details for correspondence. Please state if you are submitting for oral or poster presentation and submit to niamh.killeen@icgp.ie
