The NHS Evidence website has been launched. NHS Evidence is a new service which will allow people working across health and social care - including social workers, commissioners, clinicians, academics and researchers - to access a comprehensive range of sources of clinical and non-clinical evidence to help them make informed decisions about treatments and resources.

This is the first version of the website and there will be more developments to follow. For the moment, swine flu and other health issues likely to predominate the site. Muir Gray, who is on the Advisory Committee, is keen to get feedback on this site. The website features a feedback form for this purpose. http://www.evidence.nhs.uk/.
