Specialist Division of the Register
Fellowship of the RACGP
General Practitioners, who hold the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), may be eligible for:
- MICGP
- Specialist Division of the Register - General Practice
- GMS Entry (Limited)
Applicants for membership of the ICGP through mutual recognition (MICGP/FRACGP) are automatically entitled to apply for entry to the SDR and for General Medical Services (GMS Limited). Applicants applying through this route must fulfil the requirement for Membership of the ICGP as detailed below:
- A copy of current certification of full registration held with a recognised medical practitioner registration body.
- Original Certificate of Fellowship of the RACGP or authenticated confirmation of Fellowship issued by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
- A letter confirming fellowship in good standing from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
- Evidence of general practice post in Ireland and/or confirmation of taking up work as a GP in Ireland.
- Completed application form.
- Application fee.
