Registration of Overseas Trainees in Research/Overseas Placements

Proposals have been made to the Medical Council through the Forum for Postgraduate Training Bodies to allow trainees undertaking research/overseas posts to be given a temporary number on the trainee division of the register. Currently trainees undertaking research/overseas posts are required to apply for general registration during this period.
