The management in practice course is designed for general practitioners, practice managers and other staff who wish to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for the effective management of their practice.
What are the entry requirements?
The course is designed for general practitioners, practice managers and other staff who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in the area of practice management. In each group we seek to bring together a cross section of general practitioners, practice managers and other practice staff, representing the broad profile of Irish general practice. Course participants are selected accordingly.

Who delivers this course?
The course is delivered by a management team - Course Director, Course Tutor, who is a full time professional practice manager and there is also a contribution from experts in specific subject areas.
Course Quality
Feedback, participant evaluation and formal course projects all indicate that course participation has led to positive change in the practice and in the role development of the participant. Formal assessment of management competencies is an integral part of the course.
