Women's Health

The Women's Health Programme covers a wide range of topics in a variety of formats with a multi-disciplinary approach. The aim is to provide high quality education in topics of women's health for GPs, practice nurses and other healthcare professionals in a timely, accessible manner that is applicable, responsive and relevant to day-to-day workload.

The functions of the Women's Health Programme are to:

  • Provide educational support for primary care professionals providing women's health care
  • Contribute to the college's policy development in this area
  • Present the GP perspective on women's health in consultations with external agencies
