1. How can I complete Part I of the Certificate in Contraception?

3. I have completed several components of training for the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH) in the UK. Can I complete the remainder of my training for this Diploma in Ireland?

4. How much is the Certificate in Contraception Theory Course?
Currently the Theory Course is €375 for ICGP members and €425 for non-members. Early bird rates apply for early bookers of €337.50 for ICGP members and €382.50 for non-members » read more
5. When do you typically hold theory courses?

6. What level should I be to attend the Certificate in Contraception Theory Course?
To gain maximum benefit from this course, we advise that participants are at least senior house officer level of their training or practising general practitioners. » read more
7. Can Interns do the Contraception Theory Course?
No. This course is aimed at fully registered doctors who are in practice and who want an update in reproductive and sexual health and also is the first step required to obtain the Contraception Certificate. » read more
8. I would like to commence the Theory Course but I am unsure if I will complete all segments of the Contraception Certificate within the 2.5 year time-frame?
Please note that if you do not complete the practical training within 2.5 years of undertaking the Theory Course you will be required to sit the Theory Course again before submitting your application to the RSH Committee for the Contraception Cert. » read more
