RSH Committee

Reproductive and Sexual Health (RSH) Committee

The RSH Committee oversees training in Reproductive and Sexual Health and awards the Certificate in Contraception. The Committee has taken over the functions of the Joint Committee for Family Planning, which disbanded on 30 June, 2010. The Committee meets 4 times yearly and reports to the ICGP Education Governance Committee.

RSH Committee Members

The Committee is made up of a representative from each of the following bodies:

  • ICGP Womens' Health Programme, Director (Chair)
  • ICGP Education Committee Rep x 2
  • Exceptional person nominated by Education Committee x 2
  • Representative of National Association of Programme Directors
  • Representative of National Association of GP Trainers
  • Representative of National Association of GP Trainees
  • IFPA Representative
  • Representative of Women's Health Clinics
  • Representative of the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Representative of the Natural Family Planning Teachers Association (NFPTAI)
