Q. The principal in our practice has resigned. I have been asked to take on the GMS panel in a locum capacity by the HSE until the panel is advertised. What is my position if I sign a temporary contract?

A. A GMS appointment is a contract with specific commencement and termination dates. The agreement may be terminated on giving three months notice or such shorter notice as may be accepted by the HSE board.
