Promed Quality in Practice Awards 2012

Promed is proud to sponsor the eight annual ICGP Quality in Practice Awards. The awards recognise improvements or innovations implemented by individuals in a general practice setting in Ireland, whether of a clinical or practice management nature.

The Irish College of General Practitioners is inviting entries for the Quality in Practice Awards. All general practice staff including non-clinical staff are eligible to enter the competition.

Entries will be judged according to their impact on general practice care in the Irish setting. In this regard, special emphasis will be given to the following aspects of the improvement or innovation:

• Originality.
• Simplicity of design.
• Ease of implementation and ongoing use.
• Ease of application to other general practices within Ireland.
• Benefits derived from the improvement or innovation.
• Evidence that the improvement or innovation makes an impact on practice.

Awards will be presented to the top three entries at the ICGP AGM on Saturday 12th of May 2012. Each of the three award winners will also present their entry in a workshop setting at the AGM.

Closing date for entries is 5.00pm on Monday 23rd April 2012.
