Quality Award
ICGP/Aviva Quality Improvement Awards 2010
Aviva is again the proud sponsor of the sixth annual ICGP Quality Improvement Awards. The awards are praised for recognising improvements or innovations implemented by individuals in a general practice setting in Ireland, whether of a clinical or practice management nature.
The Irish College of General Practitioners is inviting entries for the Quality Improvement Awards. All general practice staff including non-clinical staff are eligible to enter the competition. Entries will be judged according to their impact on general practice care in the Irish setting. In this regard, special emphasis will be given to the following aspects of the improvement or innovation:
- Originality.
- Simplicity of design.
- Ease of implementation and ongoing use.
- Ease of application to other general practices within Ireland.
- Benefits derived from the improvement or innovation.
- Evidence that the improvement or innovation makes an impact on practice.
An Awards session for the top three submissions will be held at the ICGP AGM on 8th May 2010.
Closing date for entries is April 16th, 2010.
