The study, ‘General Practice in Ireland in 2010: A Survey of Staff and Equipment’ was a joint study by the Departments of Economics and General Practice at UCC. The researchers found that investment in general practice nationally has increased during the past five years. The survey of 600 GPs focused on practice investment in staff, medical equipment and information technology.
