The HSE/ICGP Weight Management Treatment Algorithm for Children was developed by the National Weight Management Treatment Group under the chairmanship of Dr Nazih Eldin. Dr Sinead Murphy represented the ICGP on this working group.

The HSE/ICGP Weight Management Treatment Algorithm for Children recommends using the UK growth charts for boys/girls aged 2-18 years or the UK 90 Growth Foundation Chart.
