Description

The National Report on Chronic Disease Management in Irish General Practice is based on a survey of Irish GPs, with a 72% response rate from a nationally representative sample of GPs, and is also based on a survey instrument which has been recently used in 11 other countries (The Commonwealth 11 Country Study). As such, the report provides a relevant and detailed baseline of how Irish GPs presently compare relative to their international colleagues, in terms of delivering chronic disease management to accepted international standards.
