The ICGP is the body responsible for recognising educational events/activities for general practitioners for purposes of external continuing professional development (CPD) and GMS study leave.
To apply for CPD recognition, please do the following:
Please note: We do not accept applications for events that have already occurred.
Valid applications are usually processed within a 2-4 week timeframe and confirmation is then issued by email. Applications requiring further details and possibly a review by the Director of Education and/or the Professional Competence Committee may prolong the process considerably.
