JCFP Syllabus

There are three parts to the family planning certificate:

• Theoretical training.
• Basic gynaecological examination skills.
• Practical training.

Please note: The following forms are for those who have undertaken the Part 1 Theory Course prior to January 2010.

• Form 1 - Standard Certificate in Family Planning.
• Form 2 - Certificate in Family Planning - IUCD Insertion (Optional).
• Form 3 - Certificate of Insertion of Long Acting Contraceptive Implants (Optional).

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL THREE COMPONENTS FOR THE STANDARD CERTIFICATE MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 2 YEARS OF COMPLETING THE THEORY COURSE.
