Annual Audit Prize 2020

The ICGP Annual Audit Prize is now open for submissions. To enter, you should submit your application by email to Your application must be received by 12 noon on Tuesday 31st of March 2020 and must include the following information: applicant's name, address, email address and a copy of their audit report (NB: no patient identifiers should appear on your audit or on your supporting documentation).

To be eligible to enter, you should be a current member of the ICGP Professional Competence Scheme (i.e. enrolled on the 2019 2020 PCS year).

Your audit must adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Audit was conducted in the 2018 2019 OR the 2019 2020 PCS year
  2. Topic is relevant to general practice
  3. Audit demonstrates all 7 steps of the audit cycle, as outlined by the Medical Council. Full information is available on
  4. The 3 shortlisted audits will be published anonymously on the ICGP website
  5. Those shortlisted must be available to present at the ICGP National Conference and AGM in May 2020

This bursary has been developed by the ICGP Department of Research in conjunction with the ICGP Professional Competence Scheme committee.

Please note: Nomination for this prize does not constitute meeting the annual Medical Council PCS requirements. These should be met as standard by all registered medical practitioners. For information on the PCS requirements, please visit
