Diabetes Roadshow for GPs and Practice Nurses

The ICGP ran a series of roadshows at venues around the country in spring 2016. The roadshows provided an introduction to the concept of integrated care incorporating the cycle of care for both GPs and practice nurses.

Areas such as establishing a register and recall of patients with diabetes in your practice, an update on therapeutics and practical aspects of patient education, were covered.

Workshops were facilitated by GPs, practice nurses, diabetic nurse specialists, podiatrists and dieticians.
