Post CSCST fellowships for recent graduates from GP training

The HSE, through NDTP have recently announced funding for doctors who have completed their specialist training to avail of a number of post CSCST fellow posts for a year. Four posts are available by competition for those who have completed GP training within two years of July 2022. These posts, paid by the HSE at the highest point of the SPR salary scale, and with continuation of all the training support grants, are designed to support acquisition of extra skills for the doctor. They are also expected to contribute to the development of the discipline and to benefit patients and the Irish Health System. Each post is due to commence in July 2022.

The ICGP invites applications from training schemes, clinical sites and universities. The closing date for applications is Friday January 7, 2022. Completed application forms should be emailed to gptraining@icgp.ie.
