Hepatitis Treatment in Primary Care

Programme Design

This eLearning module provides current and practical information for GPs and other members of the Primary Care Team, addressing all aspects of HCV management – including epidemiology, natural history, screening, testing, treatment, post-treatment follow up and prevention.

Certification

Those who successfully complete the course (view all videos and achieve 80% on the MCQ) will be accredited to treat HCV in primary care by the National HCV Programme. Please send your certificate of completion to nhctp@hse.ie who will facilitate access to the programme for you. 

Eligibility

Open to all members with a specific emphasis on Level 1 and 2 GPs

Non-members on the HSE Central Treatment List (Level 1 & 2 contract holders) are also eligible to join
