The ICGP Certificate in Palliative Care course is an evidence-based course in palliative care, designed and delivered by experienced and practising healthcare professionals. Run jointly by the ICGP, the Irish Hospice Foundation and the HSE, the course supports and encourages GPs to take a holistic and structured approach to caring for patients with life-limiting conditions. This is currently the only such course available in Ireland supporting and enabling GPs to develop their palliative care skills and competencies at Level 2 of the Palliative Care Model of Care. The ICGP course in Community Gynaecology is a highly interactive, blended learning programme designed to provide a sound understanding of common gynaecological presentations in general practice. The programme can be studied as a complete certificate course or alternatively individual modules can be selected. The full programme, which commenced in September 2021, will enable GPs to successfully manage their patients' gynaecological problems.
