Aligned with the Dermatology National Clinical Programme (NCP) objectives and with the National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) this course provides sound understanding of common dermatological presentations in general practice and enables the successful management of patients' dermatological problems. Open to GPs, Practice Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Gain expertise in managing a range of patients' gynaecological problems through a variety of topics including contraception, menopause, abnormal bleeding, sexual health, endometriosis and many more. Open to GPs, Practice Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Increase your existing knowledge in caring for the older person in topics such as multi-morbidity, fraility, nutrition, bone health, falls prevention, continence, mental health residential care medicine and medicine management. Open to GPs, Practice Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
This course will deal with the complexity of therapeutics, signposting to specific resources of most benefit for doctor and patient alike. Topics will address the need to reduce unnecessary medication burden, adverse drug reactions and interactions leading to positive outcomes for patients.

In conjunction with the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine (FSEM) RCPI & RCSI this course helps participants understand musculoskeletal soft tissue dysfunction as it presents in the practice and further prepares GPs to recognise, assess and manage these disorders.
Run jointly by the ICGP and the Irish Hospice Foundation, the course supports and encourages GPs to take a holistic and structured approach to caring for patients with life-limiting conditions and at end of life.
This course run over two years provides GPs with an overview of the range of topics relevant to occupational medicine and helps in preparation for the LFOM examination run by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, RCPI.
