To investigate whether Irish contraceptive users are being made aware of and offered the long acting reversible contraceptives, Mirena intrauterine system and Implanon contraceptive implant.
The aim is to improve the delivery of contraceptive services in an effort to reduce the currently rising figures for crisis pregnancy and termination of pregnancy and ultimately to achieve the ideal of, planned parenthood for all users of contraceptive services and for all sub groups of that population.
