Protocol for Reporting and Management of cases of Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease (CJD) and other Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs)

The guideline document Protocol for Reporting and Management of cases of Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease (CJD) and other Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs) or of a person at increased risk of a TSE is now available on the HPSC website. 

This guideline is based on current UK guidance documents and replaces the 2004 guidance "Guidelines on minimising the risk of transmission of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies in healthcare settings in Ireland".
