Being a Mentee

Who can be a Mentee?

  • Mentees are GPs at any stage in their professional career. 
  • GPs who would like to create a safe and confidential thinking, and learning conversation; with the benefit of guidance and insights from a more experienced colleague or guidance from a colleague who will act as a mentor. 
  • Participation is open only to ICGP members in good standing.


How to Apply for the Programme

Prospective mentees will be asked to complete the following form.

In your application, we would ask you to address the following:

  • Respect the essential terms of the Programme; 
  • Identify areas of particular interest, challenge or need, for discussion and best outcomes

Based on your application, you will be assigned a mentor that will be best able to assist and advise and assist you. Here is an example of the Mentoring Matching Process Flowchart.
