The PCS year runs from the 1st May to 30th April annually

WHAT IS PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE?

If you hold Specialist, General or Supervised registration with the Irish Medical Council, you are required by law to maintain your professional competence and enrol on a Professional Competence Scheme operated by a Postgraduate Medical Training Body relevant to your scope of practice. We can advise you on how to fulfil this commitment and continuously develop your professional skills.
