Do doctors in part time work have reduced PCS requirements?

No. All doctors registered with the Medical Council should meet the annual PCS requirements, regardless of working status. This includes retired doctors, doctors on leave and part time/locum doctors.

Once registered, a doctor has the right to practise medicine. From the public perspective, the responsibility to maintain professional competence must apply to all doctors, regardless of their working arrangements.
