Can the recruitment of practice staff be recorded for internal credits?

Professional competence is about continuing professional development and maintaining and improving levels of competency. Recruitment of staff is not typically a professional development exercise. However, if through the process of recruiting staff, you had cause to reflect on some element of your practice and recognise something that you could be doing differently, then this is acceptable to record for internal credits.

If you do this, you must describe the changes and improvements you have identified when you are recording the activity. The onus is on you to account for how the activity in question qualifies as being worth recording for internal credits.
