ICGP requires Strong Customer Authentication for all payment card transactions regardless of the transaction amount.
For your protection, your card must support SCA to make a payment on icgp.ie.
This allows your card issuer to verify your identity, and authorise your transaction. If you have not set up SCA on your credit or debit card, your card issuer will not authorise online transactions.
Because icgp.ie cannot access your payment card information, the College cannot assist you with issues related to SCA. If you are having difficulty making a payment, or have questions about SCA, we strongly recommend you contact your card issuer.
Further information on Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) and what it means for you is available on your card issuer's website. If you would like to learn more, here are direct links to useful information published by several popular financial institutions in Ireland.
