About the ICGP Doctors' Health Programme
The aim of the ICGP Doctors' Health programme is to promote and maintain good physical health, occupational health and psychological health and well being for GPs and their families.
What is the Doctors' Health Programme?
The Doctor's Health programme consists of healthcare networks and an information service. Doctors' Health provides confidential healthcare through four networks. The four networks are:
- Network GPs - a GP for GP service.
- Network Occupational Physicians - for occupational health advice.
- Network Psychiatrists - for when you might need one.
- Network Counsellors, Psychologists and Psychotherapists - developing solutions, life management skills and coping resources to help resolve your work-related and personal problems.
Doctors' Health provides an information service by telephone, fax, email or post. Perhaps you have a work-related health query, or you are just simply worried about yourself and you're not sure where to go. The Doctors' Health programme sources and distributes information on matters of doctors occupational health and personal health to all GPs and GPs in training on request or through workshops, presentations, publications, CME and faculty meetings and the college website. GPs family members are welcome to use the services of HiP too
