The aim of the ICGP Doctors' Health in Practice Programme is:

  1. To motivate every GP and GP Trainee to register with a GP and to consult their GP for symptom management, medical investigations, prescriptions and referrals to other doctors and health services.
  2. To reinforce GP healthcare / primary health care as first point of care for every doctor.
  3. To promote and support good physical health, occupational health, psychological health and wellbeing for GPs and GP Trainees.
  4. To enhance GPs and GP Trainees wellbeing activities outside work, for example physical activities, community volunteerism, hobbies and creative arts.
