Objectives

1.To estimate the uptake of influenza and pneumococcal vaccine among persons aged 18 years and older;
2.To estimate the uptake of influenza and pneumococcal vaccine among risk groups as assigned by the National Immunisation Guidelines of RCPI;
3.To estimate the uptake of influenza and pneumococcal vaccine by sex among persons aged 18 years and older;
4.To estimate the uptake of influenza and pneumococcal vaccine by location i.e. county;
5.To estimate the burden of influenza as defined by use of health services and absence from work or college (time spend in bed);
6.To determine reasons for not receiving influenza vaccine.
