The project will consist of two distinct phases. Phase 1 will consist of a comprehensive literature review and a needs assessment of general practitioners in terms of issues affecting early detection, information availability and referral. Phase 2 will involve the development of education material and resources for primary care practitioners and the implementation of other recommendations from phase 1.
