Thanks to all of you who took the time to respond to the last update we issued. Our apologies for not attributing previous updates. Dr David Hanlon, General Practitioner, Leixlip, is the ICGP representative on the National Pandemic Influenza Expert Group (PIEG). In support of Dr Hanlon there is an ICGP advisory group now in place which currently meets by way of teleconference on a weekly basis. The membership of this group is:

The ICGP web section www.icgp.ie/flu is undergoing further refinement in order to facilitate easy access to relevant information. This section is open to all and members might advise colleagues who are not members of the College that they can access information through www.icgp.ie.
