There is one programme for the speciality of general practice recognised by the Medical Council. This programme is delivered in 14 training schemes around the country.
Training practices attached to training schemes are plotted to maps in 3 regions:
Applicants to GP training are advised to review the maps to ensure they are fully aware of the spread of practices on each training scheme.
