Some practices may wish to migrate to Windows-based medical practice software but maintain their Mac hardware. Virtual machines make this possible. It can be difficult to configure and it adds another level of complexity to a mission-critical information system, but it is possible. Talk to your medical practice software vendor if you are interested.
